Former US serviceman emerges presidential candidate in Nigeria

A retired US serviceman, Ike Keke, has won the presidential primary fo the New Nigeria Peoples Party.

He was elected at the national convention in Abuja on Sunday and promised to ensure true federalism if elected as the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria.

According to him, his administration will work to strengthen the nation’s unity through restructuring.

He said that his government would fight corruption, strengthen weak institutions and ensure transparency and accountability.

“We plan to bring the best advancements and technologies in modern agriculture to help Nigeria become self-sufficient and a globally acknowledged agricultural nation.” He also Added.
